We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting various HR functions, ensuring compliance with company policies, and contributing to a positive work environment.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews.Support new hire onboarding, including preparing offer letters, new hire paperwork, and orientation materials.Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files.Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and HR procedures.Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.Assist with payroll processing by collecting and verifying timekeeping information as needed.Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events, and maintain calendars for the HR team.Process and track employee changes such as promotions, terminations, and leaves of absence.Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment periods.Support special projects and initiatives within the HR department.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent and required related field experience preferred.1-2 years of administrative experience; HR experience is a plus.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.Experience with Paylocity.Manufacturing experience.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.Work EnvironmentThis position operates within a family-owned business that values continuous improvement, mutual respect, and servant leadership. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM. The role requires working at the front desk, being the first point of contact for visitors. The environment is fast-paced and demanding, with occasional overtime depending on workload. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
