Human Resources Assistant - 19309
Our client, is a corporate office located in Downtown Vancouver, BC. They are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to support their HR Team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about people operations and wants to grow on a collaborative team. You’ll support key HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and day-to-day administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities: Assist with recruitment, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates. Support the onboarding and offboarding process by preparing documentation, coordinating orientations, and managing checklists. Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee files, both physical and digital, in compliance with BC privacy and employment legislation. Update and manage data in the HRIS and internal tracking spreadsheets. Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and time-off. Assist in the organization of internal events, training sessions, and engagement initiatives. Prepare reports, memos, and presentations as needed by the HR team. Ensure compliance with workplace safety and employment standards regulations. Provide administrative support to HR and Payroll teams. The successful candidate has: 1–3 years of experience in an HR supportive role, recruiting, or staffing firm experience. Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Familiarity with BC Employment Standards and HR best practices. Experience with HRIS systems (e.g. BambooHR, ADP, Ceridian) is an asset. Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Compensation and benefits: The discussed salary range is $50,000-$55,000. Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered. Comprehensive benefits package. Potential to work from home 1 day per week. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
