Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Three years of human resources experience; OR Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR A bachelor’s degree. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: Some of the duties may entail the following depending on which section. + Serves as the liaison between all parties involved in Workers Compensation claims. + Serves as the subject matter expert for Americans with Disability Act (ADA) and Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) responsible for the administration of FMLA leave under the general direction and guidance of HR leadership. + Coordinates with the appropriate chain of command to assess any work restrictions and help facilitate employee return to work. + Receives, analyzes, verifies and processes all documentation for Worker's Compensation claims, checks and leave buybacks. + Processes all actions in relation to position descriptions including updates, reallocations, new positions, job corrections, and appeals. + Makes recommendations to HR management and agency managers on optional pay mechanisms. + Processes all optional pay requests approved by the department. + Drafting and posting agency vacancies via NEOGov. + Other duties as assigned Position-Specific Details: This posting may be used to fill multiple vacancies.
