**JOB SUMMARY**
The HR Administrator is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and compliance with company policies and local law. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate associate records, assisting with recruitment processes, onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination, learning and development and supporting associate wellness initiatives.
**CANDIDATE PROFILE**
+ Tertiary qualification in human resources
+ 1 Year HR related experience
+ Good understanding of South African labour legislation (i.e. LRA,BCEA,EEA,SDA)
+ Strong planning, organizing and administrative skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft packages essential
+ Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication and email etiquette
+ People oriented and results driven
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
**CRITICAL WORK ACTIVITIES**
+ Offer operational human resources and associate support
+ Answer phone calls and record messages.
+ Create and maintain filing systems.
+ Assisting with the recruitment process, including, drafting job postings, posting opportunities on internal and external recruitment sites, screening CVs, liaising with candidates, setting up interviews as well as pre-employment verification checks
+ File and maintain applicant interview documentation and records. File, track, and process employment applications.
+ Audit and coordinate distribution of pay slips.
+ Support the onboarding and offboarding process.
+ Create new employee personnel files and preparing new starter payroll packs
+ Design and update the display and content of associate communication notice boards.
+ Ensure HR systems are kept up to date
+ Daily associate transport submission
+ Assisting with benefits administration
+ Submit employee changes to payroll
+ Supporting the Learning and Development function by coordinating training and development activities and maintain filing systems.
+ Assist in coordinating company orientation for new associates
+ Participate in Associate Wellbeing and CSI initiatives, driving a people first culture in collaboration with the Takecare Committee
+ Prepare HR reports, metrics and documentation as needed
+ Manage the Associate Cafe meal ticketing system
+ Coordinate uniform fittings
