Human Resources Administrator
Description We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources Administrator to join our team in Carson, California. In this role, you will support key HR functions, including recruitment processes, benefits administration, and compliance efforts, while leveraging your technical expertise in HR systems. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects within the local government sector. Responsibilities: • Manage recruitment and hiring processes, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews using ATS systems. • Oversee benefits administration, ensuring employees receive accurate information and support regarding their benefit options. • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment regulations and policies. • Utilize technical expertise to input and update data in Tyler Munis and other HR systems. • Conduct audits to maintain the accuracy of HR records and ensure data integrity. • Perform background checks and verify employment eligibility for new hires. • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize workflows and improve HR processes. • Provide support and training to staff regarding HR tools and systems. • Assist with payroll functions and workforce management using ADP Workforce Now and related platforms. • Analyze and report on HR metrics to support decision-making and strategic planning. Requirements • Proven experience in human resources administration, with a focus on recruitment, compliance, and benefits management. • Proficiency with HR systems, including Tyler Munis, ADP Workforce Now, and ATS platforms. • Strong background in auditing and data management within HR operations. • Familiarity with local government HR practices and regulations. • Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities. • Ability to conduct background checks and ensure compliance with employment laws. • Experience with payroll systems and workforce management tools. • Technical aptitude to train and support staff in using HR systems effectively.
