Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) – Hybrid
Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI
Schedule: Monday–Thursday onsite, Friday remote (after training)
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Contract Length: 6-month contract with potential extension or conversion

Our client is seeking an experienced Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to support a growing manufacturing and warehouse site in Pleasant Prairie, WI. This role will serve as the primary HR partner for approximately 170 employees, working closely with site leadership to deliver employee relations support, recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations.
This is a hands-on, site-facing HRBP role ideal for someone who enjoys employee interaction, coaching leaders, and supporting both office and warehouse populations.
Responsibilities
+ Employee Relations & Business Partnering
+ Serve as the primary HR partner for site leaders and employees
+ Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations matters, including counseling, corrective action, and terminations
+ Conduct workplace investigations, interviews, and fact-finding
+ Evaluate information and recommend actions aligned with business objectives, legal requirements, and ethical standards
+ Address employee questions related to benefits, compensation, policies, and general employment matters
+ Conduct exit interviews and identify trends and improvement opportunities
Talent & Workforce Support
+ Manage full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt roles
+ Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning and staffing needs
+ Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations
+ Ensure completion and distribution of new hire paperwork and benefits materials
Performance Management & HR Operations
+ Facilitate semi-annual and annual performance review processes
+ Support leaders with performance management and employee development conversations
+ Maintain employee files, audits, and archiving in compliance with company and legal requirements
+ Process HR transactions in Workday (onboarding, job changes, employee updates, etc.)
+ Assist with HR programs, initiatives, and process improvements
+ Provide one-on-one HR support to employees
+ Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree required
+ 3+ years of HR Generalist or HR Business Partner experience
+ Strong employee relations and recruiting experience
+ Solid understanding of labor and employment laws
+ Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated manufacturing environments
+ 1+ years of GMP-related training or experience
+ Experience supporting both office and warehouse/manufacturing populations
+ HRIS experience (Workday preferred)
Work Environment
+ Office and warehouse setting
+ Approximately 170 employees onsite; over 100 in warehouse operations
+ Open cubicle environment with individual workspace
+ Onsite 5 days per week during training (approximately 2–4 weeks or until fully ramped)
+ Hybrid schedule after training: Monday–Thursday onsite, Fridays remote (unless business needs require onsite presence)
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Pleasant Prairie, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
