Description
As an HR Assistant, you will contribute to the success of the organization by providing administrative and operational support across various human resources functions. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, people-oriented, and has a passion for HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative HR Support:
+ Organize and maintain employee files, records, and documentation with confidentiality.
+ Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring proper completion of paperwork, verifications, and orientations.
+ Manage the scheduling and coordination of interviews, meetings, and trainings.
Data Entry and Reporting:
+ Input and update employee data accurately in HR systems and databases.
+ Compile and prepare reports from HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) for management as needed.
Recruitment Assistance:
+ Post job openings on company website and external job boards.
+ Screen resumes and coordinate interview logistics with candidates and hiring managers.
+ Communicate with candidates and hiring teams to facilitate the recruitment process.
Employee Relations Support:
+ Address employee inquiries regarding company policies and processes, escalating issues to the HR Manager when appropriate.
+ Assist with employee engagement activities and programs to support a positive workplace culture.
Compliance and Documentation:
+ Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company policies in the maintenance of confidential employee records.
+ Assist in preparing materials for audits, policy updates, and compliance training.
Other HR Duties:
+ Support the HR department with special projects or other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
+ Experience: Previous experience in Human Resources or administrative support is preferred.
+ Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
+ Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
+ Interpersonal Skills: Professional demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
+ Education: High school diploma or GED required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
+ Confidentiality: Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
