**How you will contribute**
We are currently seeking a Human Resource Advisor to work alongside our HR team developing and supporting our performance people initiatives and practices across the ANZ region, reporting to the Human Resource Manager. You will work in a high-impact, high-touch position that blends day-to-day HR operational activities with longer-term strategic work.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate HR professional to take a step up, and get involved in a broad range of HR, ER/IR, Recruitment and OD activities.
This position will be located either at Carole Park, QLD or Macquarie Park, NSW.
**Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to;**
+ Interpret and apply Australian employment legislation such as awards, industrial agreements to coach leaders on industrial relations best practice
+ Lead and manage the entire employee lifecycle, including the end-to-end recruitment process, system onboarding, and termination.
+ Develop and drive recruitment strategies, screen candidates, conduct initial interviews, shortlist candidates, and manage interview process with hiring managers in line with Valmont’s strategy.
+ Provide sound HR generalist advice on employment relations including some performance management processes, sensitive issues such as grievances and support in investigations and separations.
+ Process and coordinate the initiation changes in Workday relating to employee personnel records to ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.
+ Drive and implement organizational and people initiatives aimed at improving HR services in line with Valmont’s values, strategies and objectives.
+ Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records are maintained, ensuring confidentiality and security of information.
+ Develop and interpret HR reports, providing insights and data for decision-making.
**We're Looking for someone with**
+ Minimum of 2 years proven experience working in a HR Coordinator/Advisory role, or talent acquisition experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience.
+ Highly developed communication skills with the ability to develop relationships and engage with key stakeholders and leaders in the business.
+ Exposure in a generalist capacity in providing advice and support in recruitment, industrial relations, organisational development and remuneration
