What You’ll Do: + Serve as a strategic partner and day-to-day leader across all HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance. + Champion a culture of inclusivity, transparency, and accountability that reflects our values and uplifts our team. + Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, with empathy and efficiency. + Provide hands-on support to managers and staff on policies, best practices, and conflict resolution. + Oversee compliance with employment laws, organizational policies, and nonprofit-specific regulations. + Develop and implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement, DEI, and retention. + Partner closely with executive leadership to support strategic organizational growth and sustainability. Requirements What You Bring: + 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role. + Deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and workforce compliance. + A people-first mindset and a knack for building trust across diverse teams. + Experience working in or with nonprofits, community-based organizations, or mission-driven workplaces (strongly preferred). + Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. + HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is a plus.
