We have an exciting and challenging Human Capital Manager vacancy in the Human Capital Department. This role is accountable for the development and execution of Human Resources action plans at Old Mutual Namibia. The role reports to the Human Capital Executive.Minimum Requirements:
Namibian Citizenship;Bachelor Degree in Behavioral Science (Industrial Psychology / Human Resources);Honours degree will be advantageous;Minimum of 6 years' experience in an HR environment of which 3 years should be supervisory / line management experience;Strategic HR management and development experience;Sound knowledge of HR procedures, policies, & statutory requirements;Creative & innovative with strong strategy development ability;Pro-activeness;Team player and exceptional relationship building skills;Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; andEffective Project management skills.Job Description:
Accountable for the HR Function at Old Mutual Namibia;With guidance from the HR Executive, delivers HR capability to Business Units;Manages a team of HR Consultants and HR Administrators to deliver HR capability;Manages and facilitates generalist HR Functions and practices (Performance Management, Onboarding, Recognition, Wellness, Recruitment & Selection)Implements, drives and supports specialist HR functions (Organisational effectiveness, Culture and Engagement, Wellness, Learning & Development, Talent Management, etc.), Development, Talent Management, etc.)Identifies and provides input to HR issues and needs within the business;Identifies and manages risks and trends within the company and industry;Responsible to deliver on the HR strategy;Supports and advises on the designs and/or redesign of HR processes, governances and practices;Designs and executes on the annual HR calendar.Leverage advanced HR data analytics to investigate complex business challenges, uncover root causes, and generate actionable insights that enhance employee engagement and drive organizational performance.Translate the HR function’s strategy into clear team objectives. Inspire and guide team members by aligning their efforts with the broader organizational mission, vision, and values to achieve exceptional results.Design, implement, and continuously improve HR data collection tools and processes to ensure data integrity, compliance, and alignment with organizational standards.Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and manage HR budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and efficient resource allocation.Skills
