About the Role
To deliver the Phase 2b Project Offshore Commissioning / Start-Up in accordance with the project schedule and budget, meeting the requirements of the project in relation to safety, quality, reliability, operability and maintainability.
Supports the offshore Rotating Construction/Hook-Up, Commissioning and Start-Up activities on the CPF and smooth transfer of the BCM and associated Brownfields systems to the operations team.
Position: HUC Rotating Engineer
Location: CPF Explorer
Indicative Term of Contract: til Sept 2026 (with likely extension until Dec 2026)
Roster: 3/3 (Nightshift)
Hours per day: 12
Skills & Qualifications: Tertiary Engineering Degree or Trade Certificate with significant Leadership and or Management experience Valid TBOSIET Valid MSIC Minimum 10 years-experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with 5 plus years’ experience of engineering and/or commissioning supervision and management on large oil & gas projects Experience in Rotating Equipment with significant experience with Baker Hughes compressors. Experience on Client teams for delivery management of 3rd party service providers / Contractors (BH). Preferably worked in offshore projects environment at some stage in career Working knowledge of CPF (or equivalent) facility rotating equipment, Engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, hook-up and commissioning, OPERCOM and ICAPS Commissioning Management System, Offshore Module installation and Wider assurance issues, quality, safety, environmental High awareness of safe working practices associated with design, construction, pre- commissioning, installation, hook-up and commissioning of oil & gas facilities.
Responsibilities: Supports the Phase 2b HUC Rotating Superintendent and Offshore Rotating HU, Commissioning and Start-Up team members to ensure delivery in line with Company policies and procedures. Liaise with the HUC Rotating Superintendent and support Rotating team to complete the offshore commissioning and start-up of the compressor subsystems following the project schedule and priorities for handover to the operations team. Supports offshore preparation / completion and review of PSSR. Liaison with the discipline techs and operations team and other stakeholders to ensure scopes are well defined and any queries or concerns are addressed. Support coordination of third-party service Contractors (E.g. Baker Hughes, Sulzer etc) carrying out hook-up and commissioning activities offshore.
