We are currently recruiting for experienced HT Drivers - Class 2, 4 & 5 based in Christchurch. The position requires a clean NZ driver license and involves working from Monday to Friday, with options for overtime as needed.

What you’ll be doing:

\n\nCollect and deliver DHL freight within standard time frames.\nEnsure security and integrity of all shipments while in care.\nRecord shipment process activities electronically (or manually if required).\nReconcile non-delivered shipments and prioritize for next cycle.\nProvide accurate and complete paperwork for shipment movements.\nPerform daily vehicle checks and report deficiencies to Fleet Manager.\nMaintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation.\nEnsure proper use and maintenance of allocated vehicle.\n\n

What you’ll bring to the role:

\n\nCurrent, clean, full Class 2, 4 or 5 HT driver licence.\nForklift licence and Dangerous Goods handling certification.\nMinimum five years of driving experience and five years in the transport industry.\nStrong planning and organizing skills with good time management.\nClear communication skills, both verbal and written, and active listening ability.\nAbility to make sound decisions under pressure and maintain professionalism.\nCustomer-focused attitude, teamwork, and willingness to assist with ad hoc duties.\nCommitment to Health & Safety compliance, reliability, and accountability.\n
