We are looking for an experienced and diligent HSSE Lead to ensure the implementation and maintenance of robust health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) programs within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, developing and implementing HSSE policies and procedures, delivering training programs, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The HSSE Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential hazards, mitigate risks, and promote a culture of safety and wellbeing in the workplace.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive HSSE programs, policies, and procedures to meet industry standards and legal requirements.Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments of facilities, equipment, and operations to identify potential hazards or unsafe conditions.Provide guidance and support to site personnel in the implementation of HSSE policies and procedures.Coordinate and conduct HSSE training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors as necessary.Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and develop corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop emergency response plans and ensure effective emergency preparedness.Monitor and analyze HSSE performance metrics, identify trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal HSSE regulations and industry best practices, and ensure compliance across the organization.Conduct audits and inspections of facilities, processes, and systems to assess compliance with HSSE standards and guidelines.Promote a proactive safety culture by organizing safety campaigns, initiatives, and training sessions.Collaborate with external agencies, vendors, and contractors to ensure their compliance with HSSE requirements during projects and activities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.Professional certifications in HSSE, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), NEBOSH, or equivalent, are highly preferred.Proven work experience as an HSSE Specialist or similar role.Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal HSSE regulations and industry standards.Experience in developing and implementing HSSE programs, policies, and procedures.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.Proficient in using MS Office tools and HSSE management systems.Ability to travel to multiple site locations as required.
