What You Will Do:
The Pratt & Whitney Hot Section Module Center Specialty Technologies Business in WPB, FL has Cell Leader position opening for 3rd shift. This is a really exciting time at P&W! Your responsibilities include:
Driving the organization multi-functionally to meet customer requirements for quality, cost, and delivery; work with functional leaders, and internal staff to meet production requirements and assure the cells operate in a productive fashion consistent with changing business needs.You will handle all operational aspects of the Cell with the Business Unit ManagerDrive overall production to meet goals, coordinating with Material, Customer Support, Quality, Engineering day-to-day activitiesLead the establishment and attainment of cell goals in quality, cost, schedule, compliance and safety utilizing the Standard Production System (SPS)You will be responsible for day-to-day operational decision makingYou'll provide effective communication across the cells, and provide leadership development and performance feedback to the shop floor employeesObtain the necessary resources (equipment, manpower, etc.) effectively to meet long range and near term goalsReview staffing and training needed including performance, salary, and career appraisals for assigned personnel as well as hiring, retaining and developing new key technical talentMaintain a constant understanding of the status of Production work, to ensure resources are correctly allocatedYou will also provide mentorship and direction to close gaps multi-functionallyYou'll lead productivity projects to reduce cost and cycle timeYou’ll will be responsible for supervising a group of hourly bargaining unit employees in a Manufacturing Operations environment.Qualifications You Must Have:
BS/BA or Associate Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years' experience in production, operations or manufacturingA U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contractsAbility to encourage teamwork, participation, and individual accountabilityAbility to work independent without daily supervisionAbility to attain and maintain a Secret ClearanceQualifications We Prefer:
BS/BA or Associate Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or QualityExperience directing skilled bargaining unit employeesAerospace experience, Manufacturing or Operations experienceProven ability to motivate teams to achieve business goalsDemonstrated problem solving and leadership skillsComputer competent, particularly in MS OfficeExperience working with SAPProcess and detail oriented, including strong interpersonal and prioritization skillsLean manufacturing/repair experience, CORE(ACE ) or Six Sigma training

This role is:
Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
