Here in Manchester, we've been making P&G products at our Trafford Park site for the past 90 years and are looking to recruit a motivated HSE Technician to join our Pampers manufacturing team.
The role of HSE technician sits within the site HSE organisation and reports to the site Technical Services Leader. The HSE technician is responsible for the ownership, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Process Safety, site material handling equipment and dust control management systems. The role ensures that all safety documentation is accurate, up to date, compliant with regulatory and company standards, and readily accessible when needed.

Key Responsibilities:Own and manage your areas of responsibility within the overall HSE program, ensuring all documentation is controlled, current, and compliant with company and UK regulatory requirements.Coordinate the creation, review, approval, and publication of safety documentation such as procedures, risk assessments, safe systems of work, and standard operating procedures.Conduct periodic reviews and audits site HSE systems to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance with company and UK regulations.Work with subject matter experts to update documentation following incidents, audits, regulatory changes, or operational improvements.Provide guidance and support for change management as needed due to process or product changes.Build capability within the organisation, create training programs and support execution, ensure organisation are trained and competentSupport the sites safety culture, carry out regular site safety tours to coach and give feedback on behaviorsWhat We Offer You:Competitive Salary: You will join start on our Level 3.1 pay rate, which is £40,113.84 per year.Flex4Me: This is an annual allowance for you to spend on physical, mental, financial and work-life balance wellbeing. Generous Pension: The company will contribute double the amount you contribute towards your pension savings, up to a maximum company contribution of 14% of your pensionable pay.Annual Leave: You will start with 25 days annual leave entitlement (plus bank holidays), increasing with length of service up to 30 days.1-4-1 Shares: For every share that you purchase, the Company will purchase a share on your behalf.
