This role will be pivotal in inspiring and coordinating the delivery of the HSE digital and IT strategy—balancing the maintenance and optimisation of our current systems with the foresight to meet future data, reporting, and communication demands. You will play a critical role in simplifying and standardising how HSE data is captured, analysed, and reported across the organisation

Your needs are as unique as you are. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home, or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.
What you will be doing
Working within the HSE compliance team, and in collaboration with the HSE Regional teams, functions and IT you will lead on timely, efficient and standardised HSE reporting requests to meet the demands across the group.
Using the latest IT tools and techniques - including AI and Power platforms you will also champion change to standardise and simplify HSE reporting across the Group and minimise the requests for adhoc reports.
Lead the delivery of our HSE digital and IT strategy.Improve and connect key HSE systems like Cority and Simple ComplianceBe the go-to expert and super user for Cority and other HSE tools.Produce clear, accurate HSE reports and make reporting simpler.Bring fresh ideas, using modern analytics and AI to improve insights.Build user-friendly dashboards and promote self-service reporting in Power BI.Work with colleagues across the business to understand needs and share valuable insights.Who we’re looking for:

Key Skills and Experience
Proven experience in data management, reporting, or systems administration, ideally within an HSE or compliance-driven environment.Strong technical capability with Power BI and an ability to generate meaningful, simplified reporting outputs.Knowledge of systems such as Cority, Simple Compliance, Interlex, or Red-on-line (experience in Cority or Interlex highly desirable).A modern, forward-thinking approach with awareness of AI-enabled data tools and digital transformation trends.Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, engage, and communicate effectively across diverse groups.Self-driven, motivated, and able to work independently while balancing multiple priorities.Ability to simplify complex data, making it clear and actionable for different audiences.We are an equal opportunities employer.
