About the Role
The HSE Specialist – Emergency Management is part of the Wheatstone HSE team, based in Onslow reporting to the Team Lead, HSE Wheatstone. The position provides field execution of emergency management processes and safeguards at the Wheatstone Plant. The role works closely with the Perth based Emergency Management Specialist to plan and execute activities to support an aligned approach to emergency management.

Location: Onslow (residential)
Indicative Term of Contract: 2 years

Additionally, the HSE Specialist – Emergency Management will be:

Providing HSE advice and guidance to Wheatstone Plant Operations, Maintenance and Supply Chain teams with a strong focus on practical application of workforce safety, occupational hygiene, Human and Organisational Performance and environmental compliance

Undertaking safeguard assurance verification and validation activities for high-consequence work scopes

Facilitating incident investigations and learning events using company approved incident investigation methodologies (e.g., 5-Whys, SAFE, Why-tree and Learning Teams)

Building productive working relationships across HSE, Business Partners and other support teams to facilitate alignment and execution efficiency of HSE activities and processes.

Facilitating the execution of emergency management processes on site.
