Job Title: Associate, Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Location: East Windsor, NJ Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Hours: Standard business hours, M–F | Onsite Pay Rate: $36–$40 / hour Role Overview Seeking an Associate-level HSE professional to support manufacturing operations. The role focuses on implementing HSE policies, conducting audits, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture. Must-Haves / Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree in HSE, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Safety, or related scientific field + 3–5 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing environment + Strong knowledge of HSE principles, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance + Fluent in English; proficient in MS Office Top Skills / Experience: + Incident investigation & risk assessment + Implementation of HSE policies/procedures and conducting audits/inspections + Knowledge of GMP and Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) requirements + Strong communication and training delivery skills Responsibilities: + Implement HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines across operations + Conduct inspections, audits, and incident investigations + Support training, risk analysis, and regulatory compliance + Maintain and analyze HSE data for continuous improvement + Recommend and implement improvements to HSE programs + Mid-sized HSE/Operations team Preferred Experience / Background: + Pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing environment + Exposure to both GMP and HSE standards in a regulated setting + Experience driving safety culture and sustainability initiatives System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
