\n\n\n\nResponsibilities

· Develops, implements, evaluates, and monitor corporate occupational health, safety and environment programs and enhances result in a safer, healthier work environment for DESC employees

\n

· Feedbacks and follows up on historical inspections and suggest areas of improvement to operations personnel and upper management.

\n

· Creates new initiatives and programs concerning to injury and accident avoidance

\n

· Arranges for ergonomic evaluations of jobs and workplace designs

\n

· Manages, ensures the conduct of and monitors occupational health, safety and environment inspection and audit

\n

· Collaborates with other organizational unit management on the establishment and communication of the objectives, values and goals for the occupational health, safety program.

\n

· Collects and analyzes data, identifies trends to establish priorities and manage programs and services

\n

· Develops, implements and evaluates polices, procedures and work instructions related to HSE, based on established goals and objectives that are consistent with the strategic direction of the company

\n

· Serves as the overall health, safety and environment consultant to the company

\n

· Ensures that trend analysis and communication of HSE risks are communicated to the organization

\n

· Ensures the creation, implementation and evaluation processes that analyze and address safety risks associated with workplace hazards

\n

· Develops, manages and evaluates employee health and safety risk reduction and health and safety surveillance programs and services

\n

· Promotes the development, implementation and evaluation of health promotion and disease prevention programs and services

\n

· Manages the development, implementation and evaluation process of health and safety education and training programs and services

\n

· Communicates with management the outcomes and effectiveness of occupational health, safety and environment programs, education and training

\n

 

Requirements\n\n\n\n

· Knowledge of occupational health, safety and environment and legal requirements

\n

· Understanding of logistics business

\n

· Project management skills

\n

· Systematic thinking

\n

· Negotiation skills

\n

· Communication and presentation skills

\n

· English language skills

\n

· Computer literacy

\n

· Open and clear communicator

\n

· Careful planning to achieve accurate and timely results

Minimum 3-5 years in safety and health

\n\n\n\n\n

Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety
