Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Officer to join our team at our state-of-the-art stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As the HSE Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our facility, staff, and visitors during various events and daily operations.

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE policies and procedures for the stadiumConduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actionsLead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and recommend preventive measuresCoordinate and deliver safety training programs for staff and contractorsManage emergency response planning and coordinate with local authorities and emergency servicesMonitor and ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standardsOversee environmental management initiatives, including waste management and sustainability programsPrepare and maintain HSE documentation, reports, and performance metricsCollaborate with event organizers and stadium management to ensure safety during sports events and other large gatheringsStay updated on industry best practices and emerging HSE trends in stadium management

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related fieldProfessional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalentMinimum 12 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in large-scale facilities or stadiumsIn-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards applicable to stadium operationsProven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response planningStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and collaborate with diverse teamsProficiency in HSE software and data management toolsFamiliarity with stadium operations, crowd management, and sports event safety protocolsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during eventsFluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
