Join us. **Job Description** We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced HSE Officer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with local and international regulations while promoting a culture of safety within our organization. + Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures aligned with local Saudi Arabian and international standards + Conduct thorough risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions + Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and recommend preventive measures + Design and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for employees and contractors + Manage emergency response planning and coordinate with local authorities and emergency services + Monitor and ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards applicable to our operations + Oversee environmental management initiatives, including waste management and sustainability programs + Prepare and maintain detailed HSE documentation, reports, and performance metrics + Collaborate with department heads and management to integrate HSE practices into daily operations + Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging HSE trends + Perform regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed + Develop and maintain positive relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field + Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent + Minimum of 12 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in industrial or high-risk environments + In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards, including familiarity with Saudi Arabian regulations + Proven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response planning + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and collaborate with diverse teams + Proficiency in HSE software and data management tools + Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in driving safety culture + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment + Adaptability to changing work environments and ability to make quick, informed decisions + Physical fitness to perform job duties, including site inspections and emergency response activities + Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus + First Aid and CPR certification **Additional Information** **About AECOM** AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
