In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing all aspects of safety on the job site, ensuring compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards such as OSHA, ANSI, and NFPA. You will provide leadership in hazard mitigation, incident prevention, and training. Strong leadership, strategic problem-solving, and effective communication skills are essential for success in this position. You will also conduct routine site audits and inspections, coordinate with project managers and subcontractors, and maintain thorough documentation of safety compliance efforts. **What You’ll Do:** + Develop and manage accident prevention efforts and safety-related programs, including facilitating appropriate training. + Conduct work area assessments and perform jobsite inspections and audits with a focus on hazard recognition and unsafe behaviors. + Coordinate and conduct safety meetings and training programs to ensure effective communication. + Participate in regulatory agency inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. + Ensure safety completion by reviewing job hazard analyses and supporting Crew Foreman/General Foremen in their development. + Evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs through daily field walks, regulatory compliance, and audit oversight. + Meet regularly with field personnel to develop project-specific corrective action plans and provide feedback to project leadership on safety improvements. + Provide coaching and mentoring for employees regarding safe and unsafe behaviors, assist with jobsite-specific safety orientations, and facilitate all injury/illness cases and incident investigations. **What You’ll Need:** + Preferred Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree. + Additional certifications as required by local authorities. + Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complex information, convey performance expectations, and address challenges effectively. + Proven leadership skills to encourage teams and improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of job subject areas and departments. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. The minimum salary for the HSE Manager position is $92,326.40 annually and the maximum salary for the HSE Manager position is $121,992.04 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
