You take pride in your work and will drive toward a culture of zero incidents. Implemented HSE programs will be well maintained and meet the relevant standards and legal regulations in the Plant. That means you will ensure that Fire safety related aspects of the facility are well maintained, regulation/procedure are in place and implemented, risk assessments are conducted, the incidents both caused by unsafe acts and conditions are reduced.
**How you will contribute**
You will:
+ Assist and lead the cultural transformation regarding HSE to help lead plant to achieve Zero Incident.
+ Be responsible for coordinating and overseeing implementation of all Health & Safety programs and processes.
+ Prepare and build consensus for annual HSE Fire Safety plans plant wide and HSE Initiatives, to enable HSE cultural development.
+ Develop technical guidance programs to identify and remove hazards with focus on Fire Safety.
+ Ensure appropriate risk assessments are conducted and appropriate controls implemented to minimize or eliminate emergencies, incidents, asset losses.
+ Provide expertise to the Incident investigation process to ensure the sharing and implementation of lessons learned and prevent reoccurrence, to ensure the HSE reporting process is followed by the Plant team.
+ Provide Health and Safety expertise for the plant for all new projects and change management activities.
+ Support HSE training and coaching within the plan to drive understanding and improvement of the HSE culture.
+ Ensures compliance and understanding of regulatory requirements, Mondelez policies and continuous improvement in key identified measures and objectives.
+ Attend and support the Daily Management System Meetings and related GEMBA sessions. Be a visible leader within the operational workplace inspecting the production area and coaching line teams.
+ Interact with Operational and Health and Safety Committees, building employee engagement in HSE processes.
+ Be a member of HSE Pillar.
**What you will bring**
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:
+ University degree in Occupational Safety and Health.
+ Minimum secondary / middle fire protection qualification, category 8 Fire Safety qualification. Higher degree in fire protection is an advantage.
+ At least 2 years’ experience in Health and Safety, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence internal stakeholders at all levels.
+ Experience in safety, and/or environmental technical standards.
+ Environmental Health and Safety training in areas such as OSHA, EPA, DNREC is an advantage.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels.
+ Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders and all levels.
+ Experience in Auditing systems.
+ Ability to support, coach, train and inspect production and operational communities.
