Join the journey This position contributes to the success of PNAB by ensuring regulatory compliance (OSHA and EPA), injury prevention and after injury management. This position reports to the EHS Manager and will work to support implementation of the PNAB EHS sites. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in employee and OSHA, and EPA compliance experience and be highly skilled at implementing processes that will lead to sustained EHS performance improvements. Responsibilities This person is responsible for deploying, implementing, and leading the EHS agenda, by supporting the Senior Management team with the integration of Safety, Environmental, prevention, workers' compensation and regulatory compliance into everyday work life. To ensure that the site complies with Environmental Health and Safety Legislation and operates within the internal Global Environmental, Health and Safety Management System To provide expert guidance on all safety and environment related matters and give information, advice and coaching on relevant legislation and internal EHS systems and reinforcement of site standards. Own multiple standards across the Health and Safety model. including Incident Investigation and Risk Assessment. Provide regular coaching to other standard Duty Holders. To be an active member of a site EHS committee team and be an active participant in the daily and weekly process. Assist the site Management Team and Standard Holders to meet the site targets of risk management and accident reduction and drive proactive safety culture through effective communications and continuous improvement. Partner operations leaders to conduct effective investigations and develop sustainable plans to prevent reoccurrence. Support change management projects to ensure safety is designed in and projects are safely executed. Compensation & Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $64,300 - $107,650. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or High school diploma with 3-5 years of EHS work experience EHS management experience in a related industry, including consumer packaged goods, distribution/transportation, manufacturing or grocery industry Knowledge and experience with EHS Management systems and their deployment EHS auditing work experience Understands and can articulate EHS regulations.
