DHL supply chain business is seeking a HSE Advisor to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

\n

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n\nSupport the site HSE Manager and wider HSE team.\nCollaborating and getting buy-in from all levels when producing or amending all site H&S documentation, legislations and responsibilities.\nUnderstand all operational processes in order to support the wider site team in adequately assessing risk and for the purposes of producing the relevant documentation.\nSupport the operational team in the event of any H&S incident to ensure that all correct processes and paperwork are produced and logged.\nAbility to create H&S improvement plans and work to targets\nProvide day to day Safety, Health and Environmental assistance and advice to enable the site to comply with relevant statutory legislation\nAssist with the development, implementation and communication of all relevant HSE policies at the siteMeet annual Safety, Health and Environmental objectives.\n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nPrevious experience within a HSE role or having taken up HSE responsibilities.\nFamiliarity of working within a warehouse environment would be beneficial.\nStrong communication skills - verbal and written.\nAble to build relationships with internal/external work forces.\nExposure to HSE systems (such as Logics) would be desirable.\nAbility to deliver training in an enthusiastic manner\nCapable of addressing individuals who are not following H&S procedures. \nIOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or willing to work towards a qualification fully funded by DHL)\n\n
