Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented HS&E Specialist ( Saudi National) to join our team! In this role you will get to showcase your skillset on a large scale construction project here in Riyadh, working within the SAPL PMCM Team and directly managing a large, multi-discipline contractor.
What You'll Be Doing:
Conducting daily site visits to monitor actions and conditions in both Health & Safety and Environmental fields.
Reviewing contractor HSE documents, RAMS, submittals etc. and advising on same.
Liaising with contractors to monitor HS&E issues and concerns, and improve their performance.
reporting all site activities through the digital reporting system and mentoring contractor staff in its use.
Assisting with the administration of the digital reporting system.
Conducting HS&E and Welfare Compliance/Walkthroughs and following up any issues or concerns raised, through to satisfactory closure.
Conducting training sessions for SAPL, contractor and Client personnel.
Assisting in Incident Investigations and Reports.
Deputise for Seniors in their absence.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) roles, specifically within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
Professional Certifications: * NEBOSH IGC (International General Certificate) is mandatory.
OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety or IOSH Managing Safely.
