The Senior HRIS Specialist is responsible for the strategic oversight, maintenance, and optimization of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role ensures data integrity, system functionality, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The position serves as a key liaison between HR, IT, and other departments to support enterprise-wide HR technology initiatives. **What will be expected of you?** **System Management & Optimization** + Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, ADP, SAP HR). + Day to day maintenance of employee data within the HRIS platforms (i.e., new hires, promotions, salary changes, etc.). + Conduct regular audits and validations to ensure data accuracy and system integrity. **Reporting & Analytics** + Develop and deliver HR metrics and dashboards to support strategic decision-making. + Generate custom reports for compliance, headcount, compensation, and workforce planning. **Process Improvement** + Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through automation and system enhancements. + Lead or support HRIS-related projects, including upgrades, integrations, and new module implementations. **Training & Support** + Provide technical support and training to HR staff and end-users. + Create user guides and documentation for system processes. **Compliance & Security** + Ensure HRIS compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. + Maintain system security protocols and manage user access rights. **Collaboration** + Partner with Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and IT teams to align system capabilities with business needs. + Serve as a functional lead during system implementations and audits. **What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?** + H.S. Education or Equivalent required. + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Experience in lieu of degree will be considered. + 5+ years of experience in HRIS administration, preferably in a manufacturing or multi-site environment. + Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as Workday, ADP, SAP HR, SuccessFactors, or PeopleSoft. + Strong analytical skills and experience with data reporting tools. + Excellent communication and project management skills. + PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred. + Proficiency with specific HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, etc). + Strong ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights from HR information. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with various departments and presenting findings. + Ability to troubleshoot technical and process-related issues effectively. + Knowledge and experience in managing projects, developing project plans, and ensuring adherence to schedules. + Ability to lead projects and manage teams (potentially a team of HRIS analysts). **What do we offer?** A competitive compensation package, including: • Health insurance • WellHub / TotalPass • Life insurance • And other exclusive benefits The division you’ll be joining is a global leader in the chemical industry.
