Job Title: HRIS Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HRIS Specialist to own and manage our HRIS system. This role involves ensuring employee data is accurate, secure, and up-to-date, setting up workflows, rules, and permissions, and assisting HR and other teams with system issues. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot problems, collaborate with vendors or IT for solutions, and support system upgrades and new features. You will also document system configurations and facilitate integration with other systems like timekeeping and performance management.

Responsibilities

Own and manage the HRIS system.Ensure employee data is accurate, secure, and up-to-date.Set up workflows, rules, and permissions according to business needs.Assist HR and other teams with system-related issues.Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with vendors or IT to resolve them.Test system updates before deployment to avoid disruptions.Support system upgrades and the implementation of new features.Generate reports and facilitate system integration with other platforms.Document system configurations to ensure knowledge continuity.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in HRIS, HR technology, business analysis, or related roles.Hands-on experience with administering and configuring an HCM platform.Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and core HR operations.Proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with ATS configuration, integrations, and adoption.Experience implementing an HRIS.Experience in coordinating or leading cross-functional initiatives.Familiarity with change management practices and IT service delivery models.Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.High level of discretion and experience handling sensitive and confidential data.Demonstrated discipline in documentation, testing, and quality assurance.

Work Environment

This position follows a hybrid work model, with the expectation to be on-site from Monday to Thursday and remote on Fridays. You will report to the supervisor overseeing Payroll/HR and collaborate closely with a specialized IT team. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
