HRIS Specialist
Job Title: HRIS Specialist Location: Pittsburgh, PA or Remote Duration: Through Calendar Year 2025 Expected Work Hours: Approximately 8 AM to 5 PM, M-F Pay Rate: $30-35/hour Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HRIS Specialist to support our client for a 5-month contract assignment, onsite in Pittsburgh, PA. A remote work model will be considered for exceptional candidates. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing our Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring the integrity of employee data, and enhancing HR processes. Key Responsibilities: + Manage and maintain the HRIS platform, ensuring accurate records for new hires, terminations, promotions, compensation changes, and other key HR transactions. + Develop and update documentation for crucial HR processes and system procedures. + Conduct data analysis and generate queries utilizing HR reporting tools to support management reporting needs. + Perform regular audits of HR data to guarantee quality and integrity. + Participate in the deployment of system enhancements and related process improvements. + Provide training on HR systems to internal users and ensure User Documents are current. + Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and improve the internal customer experience. + Assist in the compilation and maintenance of documentation for various HR programs and processes. + Provide administrative and project management support to the HR function, including data entry, record keeping, and maintaining personnel files. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: + Exceptional multi-tasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced setting. + Strong initiative while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. + Quick adaptability to evolving technologies and systems. + Excellent communication and time management skills. + Meticulous attention to detail. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel. + Collaborative team player willing to assist in various capacities as needed. Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. + General Human Resources experience is required. + Data entry experience is essential.
