Position Summary: Florida Atlantic University is seeking an HRIS Manager - Boca Raton, FL. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the HRIS Manager will work closely with HR stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy solutions that help streamline Workday HCM. The HRIS Manager possesses knowledge of core Workday design principles, project implementation, and a proven track record of successful deliverables. Effectively administer and manage Workday HCM (and related) coordination and support for the Department of Human Resources. Summary of Responsibilities: + The HRIS Manager is HR’s HCM Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provides administrative and technical support and expertise regarding the Workday HCM modules to assist with HR and related integrated workflows both within HR and the remainder of the University community to ensure seamless operations. + Liaison to OIT to maintain, configure, and optimize HCM modules to meet organizational needs and to support stakeholder uses. + Provide technical support to HR team members. With OIT, evaluate system configurations and troubleshooting to resolve issues that affect HR (and related) Business Processes (BPs), functions, and programs administered and/or supported via Workday. + Develop and maintain HR dashboards and create and maintain regular HR reports, including workforce analytics and compliance documentation for audit or as required (or for best practices). + Working closely with Institutional Effectiveness and Analysis (IEA), perform and assist with data collection, analysis, and review for required reporting to BOG, BOT, CUPA-HR, AAUP, and other agencies or organizations as requested. + With the Training and Development Manager, conduct training sessions for HR staff and/or new employees on HCM features, related business processes, and best practices. + Test system changes and new functionality. Partner with OIT and other areas within the University community for Workday testing, improvements, and related integrations work, assisting with configurations in Production and participate in any integrations testing and related support needs. + Continuously review data integrity, Identify trends in data problems, and troubleshoot to resolve data issues. Identify inefficiencies and recommend and implement improvements. HR Technology and Webpage. The HRIS Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining HR’s technological needs, including hardware and software, and maintaining HR’s webpage (and content). + Manage the department’s technological needs, including supplies, parts, and maintenance needs. With the HR Operations Manager, ensure HR is adequately equipped and supplied with appropriate technological supplies. + Coordinate with the HR Managers and Directors to ensure information accuracy for all HR content on HR’s webpage. Coordinate with Public Affairs to manage and update content on the HR website as needed, ensuring compliance with ADA and/or all applicable regulations. Other Duties – As a valued member of the University community, the HRIS Manager is expected to perform job-related duties to support their primary functional responsibilities in HR, as well as perform related services within the University community as needed. Related duties include (but are not limited) to the following: + Participate in University HCM data needs, including accreditation committees, and contribute to accreditation-related activities. + Perform data analysis and contribute to report or presentation needs. + Serve on appointed/delegated/elected committees, and both within HR and the University community, as needs arise. + Stay abreast of current HRIS technology and trends. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization, and two years of direct experience in Workday HCM. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization. Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience as a working supervisor. Experience with EIBs, Solutions, Object Loader, and Load Validations.
