Job Description

Purpose:

HRConnect is the name for our central HR and Payroll support and services focused on providing excellent customer experience as a primary principle. Service Centers based in Illinois, Tokyo, Singapore, and Krakow are dedicated to support our FTE Employees and Managers with their administrative and operational needs. This role would be based out of North Chicago, Illinois and have responsibility for Poland and Italy as part of our Europe, Middle East and Africa team.

This role is responsible for responding to HR inquiries across the employee lifecycle for Italy and Poland – hire to retire. These can include basic payroll, benefits and talent acquisition questions through the assistance of Desktop Procedures (DTP’s) and Quick Reference Guides (QRG’s). Additionally, the role will manage HR transactions in Workday including reporting relationship changes, compensation changes and leaves of absence. The role would be responsible for opening, tracking and communicating back to customers on cases in Service Now (SNOW) and when possible encourages customers to leverage self-service options. Role must speak both Italian and Polish.

This role is offered as an 18‑month maternity cover contract.

Responsibilities:

Answers general questions and redirects misplaced callsLeverages procedures, policy manuals, knowledge databases, other reference materials, etc. to answer employee and manager inquiries and resolving employee and manager HR transactionsGuides HR Employee Self-Service and Manager Self-Service transactionsExecutes select HR related transactions (e.g., data changes) or appropriately escalates issues as neededInputs data into Workday to transact on customer requestsEscalates Employee and Manager inquiries to Tier II Functional Specialists when specific, in-depth functional knowledge is requiredDocuments all employee inquiries, issues, and transactions in case management tools as required (i.e. Service NOW and Workday)Participates in continuous improvement workshops and projects as requestedParticipates in ad hoc projects as required
Qualifications
Fluent in Italian that can be used in a business environmentFluent in Polish that can be used in a business environmentHigh School Diploma. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.2-4 years of customer service / call center experience requiredStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsFamiliar with HR service and processes as well as HRIS tools and systemsAble to navigate computerized data entry systems and other relevant applicationsAble to follow standard procedures and processesAble to escalate issues timely to the right groupAbility to handle confidential and sensitive information
