For more information, visit www.pepsico.com We’re looking for a high performing HR Business Partner to join our Supply Chain HR team based in Coventry, to cover a maternity leave for a year. This role will cover the Coventry site, partnering the Site Director and support team. Thie role will form a key part of the Supply Chain People Leadership Team. Our HR leaders are commercial, pragmatic and extremely collaborative – and whether they are a generalist Business Partner or a HR Specialist, their guidance is highly valued by the wider PepsiCo business. This is an exciting HRBP role based at Coventry. We are looking for an experienced HR professional to provide leadership and support to the people agenda across the site, covering a population of circa 650 employees. This involves developing the overall people plans, delivering core HR processes, leading the talent agenda, building capability, shaping culture, and supporting our Employee Relations strategy. The role will also support the entire UK end to end Supply Chain on critical projects and the wider UK HR agenda. So there is plenty for you to get your teeth into! Responsibilities A key member of the respective HR and Site Leadership Teams, defining the people agenda and supporting the broader based operational agenda for the site and implementing plans. Lead on key elements of the Supply Chain People Plan as part of a multi-year journey. Lead the engagement agenda across the sites/teams, driving key people metrics and delivering opportunities to develop employee engagement and performance. Partner on business/team agenda and on complex organisational change projects and capability programmes. Coach, support and develop Employee Relations and Engagement team direct reports. Maintain a pulse of the function and provide constructive, actionable transparent feedback to help managers and employees to improve their performance. Flawless execution of all Core HR people processes i.e. Pay Review, Talent review etc. Lead and / or contribute to UK wide HR activity / projects. Manage site based HR budgets. Oversee site based recruitment, partnering effectively with specialist & business services colleagues. Champion the Career Growth, Capability, Inclusion, Health & Wellness, and Employee Relations agendas, acting as HR lead on activities. Qualifications Proven generalist HR experience (or broad experience gained across multiple HR specialist areas) within a fast paced manufacturing or logistics environment, ideally with experience of working with unions. Experience of working within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous. Ability to set the agenda and proactively manage / monitor delivery of critical projects and balance competing priorities. Ability to work autonomously, making independent decisions based on sound judgement, while maintaining a strong sense of personal integrity and adaptability to navigate challenges and embrace new opportunities. Strong communication, influencing and collaboration skills to build effective relationships with all client groups. Able to build rapport and trust with stakeholders at all levels, demonstrating a collaborative approach, proactive problem-solving, and a positive and engaging attitude. Strong people manager – ability to manage and develop a small team. Process simplifier – ability to innovate and implement efficient standardised and simplified processes. Able to drive complex change and embed news ways of working. Demonstrating initiative regarding strategic business operation and challenges, identifying appropriate HR interventions as a people enabler to help the business achieve its’ goals. Effective coach to senior and middle managers, and able to deliver transparent and timely feedback to build awareness of development areas and improve manager capabilities.
