Job Title: HR Transaction Specialist

Job Description

This role is situated within the central HR Shared Services (HRSS) department and plays a crucial part in supporting a range of workforce administration processes, including employee transfers, salary changes, promotions, and terminations. The HR Transaction Specialist ensures timely, accurate, and responsive services to aid employees and managers in processing transactions, updating employee records, auditing data, and managing HR forms and related processes. This position requires expertise in Internal Service Requests, Employment Actions, and the PA/OM functions of SAP and its associated workflows.

Responsibilities

Provide timely, accurate, and responsive services to employees and managers on critical Shared Services transactions to ensure data and processing accuracy.Process a high volume of HR transactions, such as hiring, personnel changes, and reclassifications, using standard operating procedures and guidelines.Maintain regular payroll system inputs by processing employee lifecycle transactions, including personal data, terminations, benefits data, and compensation details.Perform data entry quality control procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing of HR job transactions in compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.Execute HR Operational processes, including HR transactions, employee records, HR forms, and policy information.Resolve inquiries and concerns in a timely and accurate manner, offering exceptional customer service.Conduct audits of HR transactions to ensure conformance and accuracy with procedures.Review and resolve audits of HR and Benefit data, collaborating with HR contacts to address data integrity issues.Maintain confidentiality of all data and compliance with state and federal laws.Ensure HR records comply with recordkeeping regulations and best practices.Escalate unique situations or challenges to supervisors or senior team members for additional assistance.Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Associates degree in HR, Business, or Information Systems preferred.ERP experience, preferably with SAP or Workday.Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.

Work Environment

The position requires working 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The role involves working in the office two days a week, with Tuesday attendance being mandatory.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $29.00/hr.
