As an HR Student in People & Culture, you’ll play an active role in supporting a range of services and projects related to recruitment, onboarding, data management, and employee experience. You will be an integral member of the team, contributing to the delivery of seamless and responsive HR services to leaders and employees across the organization.

This remote position is open to students enrolled in any Canadian university or college program related to Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, tech-savvy, and eager to grow their HR skills in a real-world setting. 

What you’ll be doing:

Provide administrative support for a variety of P & C processes including updating employee records, processing employee change forms, tuition reimbursement, and more. Contribute to the coordination and administration of internal HR programs and initiatives (e.g., career investment funding, service milestones, internal surveys, exit interviews, onboarding processes, learning & development sessions) Maintain accurate data and records in various HR systems and tracking tools, ensuring timely updates and attention to confidentiality Participate in process improvement efforts by identifying gaps, proposing solutions, and helping to update templates or procedures Provide responsive and professional customer service to internal stakeholders via email and virtual meetings Collaborate with team members on other tasks as needed, contributing to a positive, organized, and service-focused team culture

What we’re looking for:

Undergraduate degree completed or in progress, completed course work in Human Resources would be an asset but is not required Previous experience in an administrative/coordinator role would be an asset Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook; comfortable learning new applications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills coupled with the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines Exceptional customer service skills and work ethic Strong interpersonal and communication (oral, written, listening) skills Knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and/or CHRP in progress would be an asset but is not required
