Description We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to provide vital administrative and technical support to the Field Human Resources Director. The role encompasses various HR functions, including training coordination, employee relations, compliance reporting, and policy management.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Field HR Director in implementing and maintaining HR policies and procedures to ensure organizational compliance.
• Coordinate, schedule, and oversee field HR training programs to enhance employee development.
• Review and update HR manuals and related documentation to reflect current standards and practices.
• Support employee retention initiatives, such as administering climate surveys and exit surveys.
• Track and administer staff development training, ensuring consistent progress across field HR teams.
• Generate and analyze quarterly HR reports, ensuring system accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
• Address employee concerns with professionalism and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate leadership.
• Investigate HR policy violations by conducting interviews, drafting reports, and recommending actionable steps.
• Provide employees with guidance on HR policies, including benefits and time-off programs.
• Represent the HR department in hearings and provide support for employee assistance programs as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in HR systems like ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and ATS.
• Strong understanding of compliance standards and auditing processes.
• Excellent communication skills to address employee concerns effectively and professionally.
• Experience with CRM tools and benefit functions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of employee relations and policy investigations.
• Familiarity with HR training coordination and retention strategies.
