Description
Key Responsibilities:
+ Policy Development and Implementation: Design, draft, and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company objectives and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
+ Compliance Monitoring: Stay current on labor laws, HR compliance standards, and industry best practices to ensure all policies adhere to required regulations
+ Process Optimization: Analyze current HR processes and recommend updates or improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
+ Documentation Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of policies, procedures, and compliance records; serve as the primary point of reference for policy-related inquiries.
+ Employee Communication: Communicate policy updates and changes to employees at all organizational levels through training programs, presentations, and written materials.
+ Collaboration: Partner with department leaders to align HR policies with organizational goals and foster a seamless integration of practices across departments.
+ Audits and Assessments: Conduct internal audits to ensure uniform application of policies and address any potential compliance gaps.
+ Training and Support: Develop and deliver training sessions to educate employees and managers on existing and new policies, emphasizing understanding and adherence.
+ Change Management: Support the business in implementing change initiatives related to new or updated HR policies and procedures.
+ Employee Relations: Assist in resolving employee concerns or conflicts related to policies, maintaining a fair and compliant resolution process
Requirements
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. SHRM-CP, PHR, or other relevant certifications preferred (Source: SG25 US Human Resources.docx).
+ Experience: Proven experience (3-5 years) in HR policy development, compliance, or HR generalist work.
+ Knowledge: Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance standards, and industry best practices (Source: SG25 US Human Resources.docx).
+ Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to present information effectively across all organizational levels.
+ Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
+ Technical Skills: Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and HR analytics (e.g., Workday, ADP) (Source: SG25 US Human Resources.docx).
+ Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build trusted relationships and navigate complex conflict resolution situations with fairness and diplomacy.
