HR Specialist
Description We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Specialist to join our team in Tampa, Florida. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in supporting various HR and administrative functions while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in administrative tasks, recruiting, and project coordination who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage calendar scheduling to ensure efficient time management and coordination of meetings. • Handle document uploads and updates, including maintaining and revising employee handbooks. • Lead and coordinate multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational goals. • Schedule and organize board meetings, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders. • Manage and track CVs for the organization, ensuring up-to-date and accurate records. • Develop and post job advertisements to attract candidates with relevant experience for open positions. • Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications and fit for the organization. • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including preparing reports and assisting with onboarding processes. • Utilize software tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, and Creative Cloud to enhance productivity. • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to support HR initiatives. Requirements • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in HR or administrative roles, with a proven ability to handle diverse tasks. • Proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and virtual collaboration tools like Teams and Zoom. • Familiarity with design tools such as Canva or Creative Cloud is a plus. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities. • Experience in recruiting, including creating job postings and screening candidates. • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic environment. • Background in the healthcare industry is a bonus but not required.
