The HR Representative plays a key role in managing U.S. employee transactions and supporting related systems, processes, and policies throughout the employee lifecycle—including onboarding, offboarding, and other core HR programs. This position collaborates closely with global HR teams, including HR Business Partners, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition, as well as cross-functional partners such as IT, Payroll, and Facilities. The ideal candidate brings a passion for HR, a strong focus on continuous process improvement, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

This onsite position in Sunnyvale CA is part of the DX Platform Shared Services Center Team supporting Cepheid, located in Sunnyvale, California. As a member of the DX HR Operations Team, you will report to Athena Garcia, HR Services Manager, and contribute to HR support across the Americas region.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Process and manage tickets (Case Management System) for the Americas, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Act as first line of support for all inquiries from associates and managers regarding programs, policies, and procedures Process new associate onboarding including conducting New Hire Orientation, processing new hire paperwork, and I9 verifications.Maintain accurate associate data in Workday including, but not limited to, new hire information, termination details of associates, updating organizational structure changes, job titles, salary increases, and other personnel-related data Ensure all processes are executed in accordance with government regulations (application of Federal, state and local labor laws)

The essential requirements of the job include:

High school diploma (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years of related work experience with HRIS and ticketing systems.Strong interpersonal skills, self starter with ability to communicate complex information.Comfortable working in a fast paced, constantly evolving, team environment.Self-directed, detail-oriented, problem solver with strong critical thinking skills and ability to come up-to-speed rapidly.Demonstrates a strong commitment to customer service excellence, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality results while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks and managing time efficiently. Maintains discretion and professionalism when handling confidential and sensitive information.

The hourly range for this role is $35.00 to $45.00 per hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
