Description
An established auto body company in Oceanside, CA, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Recruiting Specialist to join their team. This role will focus on recruiting top talent, ensuring compliance with California labor laws, and contributing to the company’s operational success. Candidates with 2–5 years of experience in HR, Operations, or Recruiting, bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, and with OSHA standards knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage full-cycle recruiting for positions across the company, including job postings, interviewing, and extending offers.
+ Ensure compliance with California employment laws while maintaining a fair and equitable hiring process.
+ Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
+ Support HR operational functions, such as onboarding, training, and employee engagement activities.
+ Assist in the development of policies and programs to support workplace health, safety, and compliance with OSHA standards.
+ Maintain HR records, including documentation related to employee relations and legal compliance.
+ Assist in the coordination of employee benefits, performance reviews, and payroll support.
Requirements
+ 2–5 years of experience in HR, Operations, or Recruiting (preferably in the automotive or related industries).
+ Strong knowledge of California labor laws and HR compliance.
+ Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
+ Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety program implementation.
+ Excellent organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships across all levels of the organization.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
+ Prior experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is a plus.
+ Proficiency in recruiting tools and HR software systems (HRIS).
+ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
+ Certification in HR, such as PHR or SHRM-CP, is advantageous but not required.
