HR Recruiter
Description We are looking for a couple of contract recruiters for a utility construction company. The recruiter’s primary responsibilities are understanding the employment needs within the Company as well as developing and maintaining appropriate and effective recruitment efforts. The position also works with other HR team members to onboard new employees. The position may also perform employee file maintenance and other administrative functions as they relate to the Company’s Human Resources function. Responsibilities: • Maintains open position opportunity postings within Company recruiting systems • Regularly communicates with Company leaders to proactively and appropriately respond to upcoming and current hiring needs • Develops new recruiting strategies • Maintains timely and professional social media presence • Continually works to build and maintain an appropriate talent pool • Follows Company procedures and all applicable laws in regard to employment practices and information disclosure • Builds positive relationships with all employees (current and future), regardless of position within the company, with a strong sense of customer service • Maintains a high level of confidentiality • Other duties as assigned Qualifications, Skills and Experience: • Associates Degree in Human Resources or Marketing or combination of education and working experience is preferred • 2-3 years relevant recruiting experience • Effective, respectful and professional verbal communication • Clear, precise and creative writing style • Creative and critical problem solving • Strong customer service focus • Team oriented, keeping organizational success at the forefront • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently minimum guidance • Proficient use of computer hardware, database and internet software is required. Familiarity with Google-Based applications such as G-mail, Google Docs and Sheets is strongly preferred.
