Description We are looking for a dedicated HR Recruiter to join a non-profit organization in Los Angeles, California. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in sourcing, selecting, and onboarding talent that supports the organization's mission of empowering children and fostering community growth. The role requires a strong background in HR recruitment, particularly within non-profit settings, and offers a hybrid work environment involving both remote and on-site collaboration.
Responsibilities:
• Source, identify, and attract candidates with relevant experience for various roles within the organization.
• Conduct thorough interviews to assess candidates' alignment with the organization's mission and values.
• Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a seamless integration for new hires.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with community leaders and organizations to enhance recruitment efforts.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies that prioritize child safety and well-being.
• Effectively manage a hybrid work structure, balancing on-site and remote responsibilities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address recruitment needs and develop hiring plans.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on recruitment activities and outcomes.
• Organize and participate in community outreach initiatives to build awareness and attract talent. Requirements
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in high-volume HR recruiting.
• Familiarity with non-profit organizations and their unique hiring requirements is preferred.
• Experience recruiting for behavioral health roles, such as therapists.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with candidates and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of recruitment strategies and best practices, particularly within community-focused initiatives.
• Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in both remote and on-site settings.
