We’re seeking an HR & Payroll Specialist to support biweekly payroll, benefits administration, HRIS data, and day-to-day HR operations in a growing organization. This role is ideal for an early‑career HR professional who enjoys payroll, employee support, and process improvement.

What You’ll Do

Process biweekly payroll and review time records, adjustments, and deductionsAdminister benefits enrollment, changes, open enrollment, and auditsRespond to employee questions on payroll and benefitsMaintain accurate employee data in the HRIS (Paylocity preferred)Reconcile payroll to the general ledger and partner with FinanceSupport HR reporting, compliance, onboarding, and HR projectsAssist with policy updates, audits, and system improvements

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience1–4 years of HR and/or payroll experienceExperience supporting payroll and benefits administrationProficiency with Microsoft Office; HRIS/Paylocity experience a plusStrong attention to detail, confidentiality, and communication skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.50/hr.
