How You Make a Difference
As an HR/Payroll Specialist, you will take full ownership of the payroll process, maintain accurate employee data, and provide essential administrative support. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless and compliant HR and payroll operations. With your eye for detail and strong communication skills, you will contribute to a smooth, professional employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Take full ownership of the monthly payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.Maintain and update employee records, including contracts and benefit information.Handle payroll-related queries and resolve them promptly.Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies (e.g., Gatekeeper Act).Collaborate with external parties such as government institutions (e.g., UWV) and insurance providers.Prepare regular reports regarding payroll, absenteeism, and employee changes.Support HR administrative tasks, including onboarding, contract preparation, and status updates.Work closely with the Shared Service Center (SSC) on daily payroll operations.Drive improvements and automation in payroll and HR processes, including Time & Attendance systems.Manage ad-hoc tasks and operate effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.Skills and Qualifications

We also request:
• Proven experience in payroll and HR administration.
• Solid understanding of Dutch labor law and social security legislation.
• Familiarity with payroll systems and strong system/process knowledge.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• A hands-on mentality, structured working style, and a collaborative spirit.
