HR Payroll Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **HR Coordinator** to support a leading financial services organization on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to handle sensitive employee information with professionalism. Working in a hybrid capacity from the Richmond office, the HR Coordinator will provide day-to-day support to the HR team across key functions including onboarding, employee data management, compliance, and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
+ Provide administrative and operational support to the HR payroll team.
+ Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
+ Support HR programs and initiatives related to payroll.
+ Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, escalating issues to HR leadership as needed.
+ Prepare reports, track key HR metrics, and assist with audits or compliance reviews.
+ Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless HR operations.
Qualifications
+ 1–3 years of experience in HR support, coordination, or related administrative role.
+ Familiarity with HR processes, employment documentation, and Workday preferred.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
+ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred but not required.
Additional Details
+ **Schedule:** Full-time, 40 hours per week.
+ **Work Environment:** Hybrid—3 days per week onsite in Richmond, VA.
+ **Duration:** Temporary assignment with potential for extension based on business needs.
**Pay Details:** $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
