This role will be based in Manila with ability to work flexible hours (Manila, Philippines with ability to work flexibly in US time zone) and will report directly to the HR Payroll Compliance Manager. Join our global HR & Payroll Compliance team and play a key role in ensuring HR and payroll processes across 72 countries meet enterprise SOX internal key controls. As part of a U.S. publicly traded organization, you will help maintain a strong internal control environment that protects the company and its stakeholders. In this role you’ll partner closely with HR and payroll teams worldwide to provide practical guidance, monitor control effectiveness, and coordinate timely remediation when issues arise. You’ll have the opportunity to influence process design, support audit readiness, and drive measurable risk reduction through core compliance activities such but not limited to: **Risk Monitoring** Lead proactive Risk Monitoring activities including Compliance Health Checks and Due Diligence reviews to support in detecting SOX key control risks and operating effectiveness across HR and Payroll. You will identify control deficiencies and emerging risk areas, align findings with HR/Payroll stakeholders, and support timely remediation to strengthen the control environment. **Audit Support** Serve as the primary partner to HR and Payroll in translating auditors' requests into clear, actionable tasks and maintaining an accurate inventory of audit evidence. You will clarify discrepancies between teams, coordinate remediation efforts for findings, and ensure audit deliverables are completed on schedule, sharpening your audit-readiness expertise. **Compliance Advisories** Hone your skills as a trusted advisor via our intake app by answering control-related questions/request for advisory, review proposed changes which may impact how SOX key controls are carried out by HR/Payroll. This role will also orchestrate cross-functional teams to co-own solutions with HR/Payroll, reducing SOX-related risk while building your consultative skills. **Issues Remediation** Own corrective action plans by collaborating with HR and Payroll to validate, and monitor remediations that sufficiently address compliance gaps. You will drive issue closure with HR or Payroll stakeholders, track remediation progress, and ensure sustainable fixes which prevent repeat findings. **Trainings** Develop and deliver year-round compliance training for HR and Payroll stakeholders to provide practical guidance on frequently asked topics and more information regarding SOX control requirements. You will share best practices, recommend efficiency improvements, and empower teams to meet compliance expectations while growing their capabilities. Other responsibilities include the following: - Represent compliance and participate on global/regional/local project meetings - Participate on other global/regional compliance projects and deliver assigned tasks, as needed - Perform other duties as assigned **Qualifications:** - 5-8 years of work experience in Payroll and/or Compliance - Knowledge and experience in PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerAutomate If you enjoy collaborating across regions, solving complex control challenges, and making a visible impact on global compliance, we’d love to hear from you.
