As a HR Operations, Benefits & Payroll Specialist, you will be a partner with benefit and payroll suppliers, HR partners, and colleagues to assist with HR Operations matters for the countries in scope, such as onboarding, leave of absence, terminations, life-cycle events, benefit enrollment and maintenance, and payroll. Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the quality delivery of multiple HR Operations and payroll processes and service to the businesses:
Responding and managing HR & Payroll queries via ticketing system coming from GE HealthCare colleagues, managers and HR partners in a timely and professional manner.
Correctly administering all HR Operations and Payroll processes under scope of responsibility.
Maintaining quality of work based on service delivery metrics.
HR Operations: maintaining and updating employee records. Overlooking HR transactions, such as onboarding, offboarding, promotions, and employees´ life-events.
Maintaining regular HRIS input by collecting relevant candidate and employee lifecycle information, such as personal data, contract terms, and benefits and compensation details.
Resolving issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures (HR Ops & Payroll).
HR portal content: maintaining and ensuring portal remains relevant with the right level of information to support our colleagues in a self-service model. Updating portal with new or adjusted policies, propose new content and work with People Operations and HR colleagues to define strategy for the local portal.
Partnering with payroll suppliers and assist with various payroll matters, ensuring accurate payroll inputs, adherence to payroll schedule and timelines, and checking payroll outputs.
Collaborating with HR and Business teams to gather relevant input data, perform analyses, and reconcile payroll to ensure accuracy and completeness of monthly payments and annual returns Including correct employment tax application.
Compliance and Process Improvement: ensuring payroll compliance by accurately administering payroll processes and maintaining quality based on service delivery metrics.
Identifying opportunities for process optimization and contribute to the implementation of best practices across the People Operations organization.
Required Qualification and Skills
Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
Experience in Human Resources and Payroll Service Delivery.
Good understanding of payroll management, Greek employment law, Greek employment tax regulations, and benefit management.
Fluent Greek and English.
Great interpersonal skills with strong customer service focus. Capable of eloquently explain technical payroll information to others.
Knowledge: good understanding of people operation process management and local regulations and payroll operations proficiency.
Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insights to support HR-related decision-making.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work, ensuring accuracy in documentation creation and payroll review.
Adaptability: Willingness to embrace challenges and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
Software Proficiency: Microsoft Excel required, and Workday proficiency is a plus.
Familiarity with Generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) is a plus, especially for streamlining documentation, analysis, and communication tasks.
