HR Manager

TPD is seeking an HR Manager to join our growing HR Solutions team. In this role, you’ll provide both advisory services and consulting projects to small and medium-sized businesses across diverse industries. You’ll work closely with our team to deliver day-to-day HR support and lead HR infrastructure projects. This position requires a strong grasp of HR best practices, relationship-building skills,  the ability to manage projects with impact and an entrepreneurial spirit.

What You’ll Be Doing

Work under the guidance and mentorship of a senior HR practitioner.

Provide exceptional service to TPD clients, becoming a trusted advisor to their business.

Lead and deliver high-impact HR operations and advisory support, including:

Employee Relations

Onboarding & Offboarding

HR Documentation

Performance Management

Compensation

Drive project work in areas such as:

HR Technology Implementations

Employer Branding

Change Management

Employee Engagement

Career Pathing & Succession Planning

Policy Development & Implementation

HR Metrics

Coach and mentor HR Coordinators and Specialists, fostering continuous growth.

Build strong,profitable  long-term client relationships through proactive account management

Participate in the sales process, showcasing team expertise and value of the TPD model

Attend networking events and maintain and active network of prospects

 

What You Bring

Proven project management experience.

Hands-on experience with an ATS and HRIS

Exceptional influencing and  communication skills 

5–10 years of progressive HR experience.

Strong understanding of employment legislation in BC, Alberta, and Ontario (US legislation experience is an asset).

Ability to travel to client sites within the greater vancouver area (25-50%); overnight travel is rare.
