Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Manager to join our team. This individual will play a key role in supporting HR operations, employee relations, and recruitment efforts across the organization. While this is a manager-level role, it does not include direct reports and is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a collaborative environment.
ResponsibilitiesPartner with department managers to address employee relations matters, ensuring a positive and compliant workplace.Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.Maintain and update employee records and documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Administer and manage HR systems, including Paycor for timekeeping, PTO, and holiday tracking.Utilize SharePoint to organize and share HR documents, policies, and internal communications.Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and development plans.Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee inquiries.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that enhance employee engagement and operational efficiency.Serve as a trusted resource for employees, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.Essential Skills3+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a retail environment.Strong working knowledge of Paycor and SharePoint.Solid understanding of HR best practices and employment law.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.High level of discretion and professionalism.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.Work Environment
This role is situated within a dynamic retail environment, where collaboration and adaptability are key. The position requires interaction with various HR systems and platforms, including Paycor and SharePoint, for efficient management of HR processes.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $39.00/hr.
