Essential Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of HR services for the project, ensuring practices are consistent, compliant, and aligned with the broader HR frameworks of the organizations involved.Build strong relationships with project leaders and maintain appropriate connection points with HR teams from each parent company to support clarity and consistency in HR practices.Provide practical guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, talent needs, and people‑related risks, using data and insights to support project objectives.Adapt corporate HR programs and processes to the project environment, ensuring they are implemented effectively and in a way that supports operational needs.Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, grievances, performance issues, and conflict resolution, in collaboration with Labour Relations.Ensure proper administration of collective agreements and participate in Labour Management Meetings with unions, site management, and LR teams.Provide oversight and direction for all site‑level HR practices, ensuring onboarding, workforce support, HR administration, and employee lifecycle processes are executed accurately and consistently.Lead, coach, and develop the Site HR Coordinator, ensuring strong performance, capability growth, and consistent delivery of HR services.Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of human resources experience, with preferred consideration for applicants who have worked in on-site HR roles within joint venture (JV) project environments.College, trade, or technical diploma in Human Resources or related field is desirable.Strong business acumen with the ability to understand project operations and connect people considerations to business outcomes.Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills, including the ability to use data to inform decisions.Solid understanding of HR processes, programs, and legislation, with the ability to guide and influence leaders on their application.Effective change‑management capability to support leaders and teams through organizational transitions.Proven coaching, facilitation, conflict‑resolution, and relationship‑management skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to address challenging questions and engage in constructive dialogue.Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.High level of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.Collaborative, service‑oriented approach with the ability to work independently while staying aligned with broader HR practices and expectations.Compensation
$103,950 - $127,050 AnnuallyThis is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
