Position Summary

TheHuman Resources Leaderis primarily responsible for managing all aspects of Human Resources within the hotel. This strategic and operational role ensures compliance with Hyatt’s corporate policies and procedures, promotes a positive work culture, and supports the leadership team in attracting, retaining, and developing talent. Additionally, this role acts as a key liaison between the corporate HR leadership and the hotel team, ensuring alignment with the company’s global goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Human Resources Management:

Implement Hyatt’s defined HR policies and strategies at the hotel.Provide strategic advice to the General Manager and leadership team to align HR practices with hotel objectives.Analyze key KPIs such as turnover, absenteeism, and employee satisfaction, and develop strategies to improve results.

2. Recruitment and Selection:

Manage the full recruitment, selection, and hiring process for hotel talent, with support from the corporate team, ensuring Hyatt standards are applied.Design and implement strategies to attract qualified candidates and ensure effective onboarding of new employees.

3. Labor Relations and Organizational Culture:

Promote and maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and employee engagement.Manage labor relations, including conflict resolution and mediation between employees and supervisors.Implement recognition programs and activities that reinforce Hyatt’s values and culture.

4. Training and Development:

Coordinate and oversee training and development programs for teams, ensuring all employees receive appropriate training in technical, service, and leadership areas.Identify individual development needs and design career plans for key employees.Ensure implementation of Hyatt’s corporate development programs.

5. Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all applicable local and international labor regulations, as well as Hyatt policies.Prepare for and oversee internal and external HR audits.Manage cases related to workplace safety, work accidents, and workers’ compensation claims.

6. Compensation and Benefits Administration:

Oversee the administration of salaries, benefits, and incentive plans at the hotel, ensuring competitiveness and fairness.Manage communication and enrollment processes for employee benefits plans.

7. Administrative and Operational Management:

Supervise and ensure maintenance of employee files and records in accordance with corporate standards.Support the HR administrator in the daily management of operational tasks.Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in coordination with corporate HR.Success Indicators:100% compliance with labor regulations and corporate policies.Reduction in employee turnover.Successful implementation of training and development programs.Control of absenteeism and workplace accident rates.Improvement in workplace climate and team satisfaction metrics.

Formación y Experiencia:

Título universitario en Recursos Humanos, Administración de Empresas, Psicología Organizacional o campo relacionado.Mínimo 5 años de experiencia en Recursos Humanos, con al menos 2 años en un rol gerencial dentro de la industria hotelera.Valorable la formación complementaria en Recursos Humanos (certificaciones, Máster, etc.).

Conocimientos específicos:

Conocimiento práctico de normativas laborales locales e internacionales.Nivel avanzado de español e inglés (oral y escrito).Habilidades avanzadas en software de recursos humanos y herramientas de gestión.

Competencias Clave:

Excelentes habilidades de liderazgo, comunicación y resolución de conflictos.Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno dinámico y bajo presión.Pensamiento estratégico con habilidad para tomar decisiones basadas en datos.Orientación al servicio y enfoque en el bienestar de los empleados.
